whole woman care
bodywork + counsel
serving women age 13 + along the continuum of womanhood. specialized care for pregnancy and birth.FAITH IN THE BODY
Tending to the body through the lens of honouring Gods creation changes the way we view healing. It becomes one that is held not only by us, but instead a collaboration between us, and our Creator.
Our bodies were woven with wisdom;
our heart to beat,
our lungs to breathe,
our brains to think,
our wombs to create, sustain, and birth life.
There is an intelligence within us that is being communicated each and every moment, which is leading us to uncover more of how we may more fully unite our body and spirit.
BODYWORK
This approach is one rooted in the physiology of the female body. By supporting the structural integration of the pelvis we can soften, expand, and create long lasting change to the layers of the fascial matrix and organs which create the living, movable system we breathe and exist within. We do this through hands on, hands in abdominal and pelvic bodywork. Bodywork will look different on every body, and possibly every session as it is not a one size fits all approach. Instead, the body is met in collaboration to what is presenting at the time and adjusted accordingly.
This is slow, patient, present care. Care which allows you to be the one in full participation and understanding of your own body.
When we are feeling stuck, exhausted, conflicted, afraid, or in painful cycles in our life it will be reflected in the body. In women in particular, it is most often manifested within the pelvis, this is why I focus my hands on care to the belly and womb.

Special gratitude to my teachers of this work Andrea Terrones & Carly Rae Beaudry. Their devotion to women’s health continues to inspire this care.COUNSEL
So much of women’s health care is cold, clinical, and lacking true care and attention to the fullness of a woman. In my practice I will ask you to share about more than just your physical health, including nourishment, relationships, self-perception, sexual health, spiritual health, and many other aspects that continue to create your dynamic experience that shapes your life and body.
Counsel also includes education and accountability to create lasting change to your day-to-day life with practical tools and information that will allow you to care for your own body.
There is opportunity to share in person, as well as to book over ZOOM at any time. This allows you to feel heard, cared for, and create a tether to support as you move along your experience.
NATURE
Collaboration with nature has been, and continues to be a very essential element to the way I care for women. We can learn so much about the way we are made to nourish, heal, grow, and adapt by witnessing and experiencing Gods creation of the natural world.
Sessions are held in a cabin on the land I live on, nestled amongst 17 acres of protected cedar forest, abundant gardens, and a fresh water river. It is a sanctuary for myself and my family that we share with the women who come here to be supported alongside nature; sounds of birdsong, wind, and rushing waters.
PREGNANCY + BIRTH
I serve women on their journey to bringing life into this world as gently, lovingly, and faithfully as possible. Birth is a rite of passage we are not meant to walk alone. I believe birth is designed to be an experience that deepens a woman’s connection to their body, baby, and God.
Bodywork + counsel is tailored specifically to where you are in your journey; whether that be preparing for conception, pregnancy, or postpartum as early as day 1.
Birth preparation: physically, mentally, spiritually preparing to give birth…for the first or tenth time!
Birth de-briefing (after previous challenging or traumatic births)
Education on physiological birth and baby care
Breastfeeding care + support
Birth attendance
Womanly care and companionship.

On the day of your session, please have clean skin free from moisturizers or oils. During your session you can undress to your comfort level, some women like to wear a loose bralette it is totally up to you!
I suggest applying a castor oil pack leading up to your session. This is support the body to soften and receive the care with more depth. You can learn more about how to use castor oil packing here.
Please come to each session sober or we will not continue with the session. This includes alcohol, marijuana, mushrooms, and recreational drugs.
If you are currently taking prescription drugs such as antipsychotics, stimulants, or antidepressants there are some limitations to our work which we can discuss in more depth.

It depends on your commitment and current health status. I recommend scheduling at least 2 sessions a month for a few months initially to support the body and have more significant results. After that, it depends on your body and how it is responding to the care how much you choose to receive.
Womb care is essential along the continuum from girlhood to end of life. There is never a bad time to receive this care.

Internal care is different for every woman. It will be very slow and have the intention to soften and repair tissue when needed, and create deeper connection to the vulva, vagina, and surrounding tissues.
I will always wear gloves and assess comfort level and consent before any touch.
It is required to come and receive at least two sessions without vulva vaginal touch before this care. This is to protect you and your body and to titrate into deeper, more intimate work together.
I do not offer vulva or internal care to those currently taking prescription medication which altars sensation or presence (ie. antidepressants, anti-anxiety medications..etc)

Yes! This is incredible care to prepare the body for pregnancy & birth. Many of my clients have gone on to have natural vaginal births. It also provides a space to connect with your body and prepare for the changes.
For postpartum, it is beneficial to support the body as it slowly recalibrates after pregnancy & birth. For vaginal birth you can receive this immediately. It is recommended to wait at least 10-12 weeks following a caesarean section.
